In „eventuell. utopia“ the duo explores in a differentiated way visions of a social ideal, various illusions as well as reality and its perception. To what extent do fiction, fantasy and pipe dreams for a better reality diverge with the facts of the present and does the striving for utopian living conditions – i.e. the striving according to the definition for an unattainable ideal state – bring us further as a society at all? It is precisely the discrepancy between reality and its (ideal) conception that opens up an exciting field, which has been/is treated in various art forms in the most diverse ways. What is real and what is only illusion – or even utopia?
